Our Mission - Your Eyecare

We opened our practice in Egham in May 2007 with the aim of bringing first class eyecare to the Egham area.

As an independent practice this allows a tailor-made approach to eyecare ensuring a friendly, caring environment for all patients. As we both work in the practice, continuity of care will always be ensured and a high level of Professional service will be provided, which is of the utmost importance to us.

Your Eye Examination

Eye examinations are carried out using state of the art equipment which includes digital retinal imaging (a photograph of the back of the eye); this allows a more comprehensive view of the eye and consequently earlier detection of any health problems. This is especially useful for our clients with diabetes and glaucoma.

Your Eyewear

Good visual standards are desirable for people in all walks of life and in all circumstances whether that be at school, at work (VDU or safety wear), for Sport (swimming goggles, sunglasses, sports wear) and Robinson and Lamb Opticians can cater for all needs.

As styles of frames are ever-changing, we keep up to date with the top designer brands which include Dior, Gucci, D&G and Boss. We have a great range of rimless eyewear including Polaris, Silhouette and Lindberg. But along with the regular traditional designs we also keep a stock of the more unusual styles. For our clients who may be on a budget, we keep a comprehensive range of frames at competitive prices and cater for those who are entitled to free frames and lenses through the NHS voucher system.

Contact Lenses

A wide range of contact lenses of all types are now readily available, including disposables, replacement programmed lenses, lenses for astigmatism and even bifocal contact lenses. A free trial period of these types of lenses can be given to help determine each patient’s suitability. In this area we procure from manufacturers such as Ciba, CooperVision, Bausch and Lomb and Johnson & Johnson.

Domiciliary Service

We can carry out eye examinations at a client’s home for those unable to attend the practice. When completed, the client’s spectacles are delivered right to their door.
